Plastic Bottles Removed in 2022

The Renewell Journey

Hi I’m Simon Newell, founder of Renewell Water.

Let me tell you how this journey began.

I was 19 when I was first introduced to the idea of purified filtered water. It was 2002 and the whole area of water filtration in people’s homes was in the very early stages, unheard of really. This was way before the marketing genius of the Brita jug or before bottled water became popular.

As a sufferer of severe acne, which had a huge negative effect on my confidence as a young teenager, I set off on a journey to find a solution. This is where I developed a huge interest in and passion for natural health.

I was introduced to the idea of Reverse Osmosis a water filtration system that would take your water back to pure H2O no matter what state it was in. It was incredible to see the capabilities of what this system could do to ordinary tap water. Taking it from something that was toxic and smelly and bringing it right back to its natural state of pure H20. Simply by squeezing it through small pores 1000 times smaller than a strand of hair.

In a time when cancer and disease were affecting around 1 in 3 people I wanted to go out and tell the country that I had a different way to consume water that wouldn’t jeopardize your health.

We are a natural being made up of roughly 60% water. It is the single most important substance in relation to your health.

We still have the same message for you today as I did back then. Prevention is better than the cure. Take control of your own health and start by drinking pure water.

If you are drinking water that is loaded with chemicals and toxins, it is going to negatively influence your health and wellbeing. A hydrated body is a healthy body. This is where my passion came from.

So here we are, nearly 20 years later and year after year we see the quality of water entering people’s homes deteriorate. There are more chemicals now in the water supply than ever before. Water companies add toxic chemicals to treat water instead of filtering and purifying it. So really nothing has changed and as I advised back then “Buy the Filter don’t be the Filter”

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us here.

Thank you,
Simon Newell.

Frequently Asked Questions

What you need to know about Renewell Water:

What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse Osmosis, commonly abbreviated to RO, is a water treatment method traditionally known for removing salt from seawater, it is also used to purify drinking water by forcing untreated water molecules through a semipermeable membrane. The membrane has a tight pore structure that effectively removes up to 99% of all contaminants and impurities such as total dissolved solids, chemicals, bacteria and viruses from drinking water. Anti-microbial filters used in Reverse Osmosis also help to remove unwanted odours, colours and tastes from water. The result is pure, clean, drinking water.

How does a Reverse Osmosis System work?

Although Reverse Osmosis seems like a complex system it is really a simple and straightforward water filtration process. Of all methods to purify water for domestic use, the process of using reverse osmosis is the most advanced, economical and effective.

RO is a process in which dissolved inorganic solids are removed from the water. This is accomplished by household water pressure pushing the tap water through a semipermeable membrane, the membrane has the astounding quality of attracting water molecules and repelling dissolved impurities, even those smaller than the water molecules themselves. The membrane, which is about as thick as cellophane, allows only the water to pass through, not the impurities or contaminates.

What does a Reverse Osmosis System remove?

Reverse Osmosis successfully removes dissolved minerals and metals such as; Fluoride, Sodium, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Iron, Manganese, Aluminium, Ammonium, Copper, Nickel, Zinc, Strontium, Cadmium, Silver, Mercury, Barium, Chromium, Lead, Chloride, Bicarbonate, Nitrate, Fluoride, Silicate, Phosphate, Chromate, Cyanide, Sulfate, Thiosulfate, Ferrocyanide, Bromide, Borate, Arsenic, Selenium, Trihalomethanes.

How often do I need to change the filters on my Reverse Osmosis System?

Once a year. Depending on the quality of your water, some filters may need to be changed every six month. Renewell Water will notify you when it is time to replace your filters.
