The Renewell Journey

I'm Simon Newell, the founder of Renewell Water, and I want to share with you the pivotal moment that sparked this incredible venture.

Picture it - 2002. I was just 19, grappling with severe acne that not only took a toll on my confidence but also sparked a relentless quest for a solution. It was during this journey to reclaim my health that I stumbled upon the transformative power of purified filtered water. Back then, the concept of water filtration in homes was in its infancy, well before the era of Brita jugs and the ubiquitous presence of bottled water.

In my pursuit, I discovered Reverse Osmosis, a water filtration system that could turn ordinary tap water, laden with toxins and odours, into pure H2O. Witnessing the remarkable capabilities of this system, which worked by squeezing water through pores 1000 times smaller than a strand of hair, I realised the potential to bring about a positive change in people's lives.

In a time when cancer and diseases were affecting 1 in 3 people, I felt compelled to spread the word about a different way to consume water – one that wouldn't compromise your health. As our bodies are approximately 60% water, it's undeniably the single most important substance for our well-being.

The message remains unchanged today: Prevention is better than the cure. Take control of your health by starting with pure water.

Fast forward 21 years, and the quality of water entering homes continues to decline. The water supply is now laden with more chemicals than ever before. Water companies add toxic substances to treat water instead of prioritising filtration and purification. As I advised back then, "Buy the Filter, don't be the Filter."

This trend underscores a pressing need for proactive measures in ensuring the purity and safety of the water consumed by households, highlighting the importance of reliable filtration systems to counteract the growing prevalence of harmful chemicals in our water sources.
