Every so often a customer sends our team a photo of their new system with one simple question. Why does my invoice say ArkkZ when the unit says ArkkPure?
It is a fair thing to ask. I would ask it myself. When you spend money on something that treats the water your family drinks every day, you want to know exactly what you have bought.
So here is the full story, in plain terms.
1. Explaining ArkkPure
ArkkPure is a Renewell Water brand name. It is also the name of one of our reverse osmosis systems.
The name began life as a brand for our reverse osmosis range. At the time we were weighing up a question. Should our filtration systems carry their own identity, sitting alongside the Renewell Water name rather than under it?
In the end we chose not to take ArkkPure forward as a stand alone brand for customers in Ireland. The name stayed with us, because it remains part of our product history and our brand history.
This means you may come across ArkkPure in two different ways.
- ArkkPure as a product. It is the name of a specific reverse osmosis system in our range.
- ArkkPure as a brand. It is a brand name Renewell Water created for our reverse osmosis systems.
Both are true at the same time, and that overlap is where the confusion usually starts. It matters most when you see the ArkkPure logo printed on an ArkkZ system.
2. ArkkPure and ArkkZ Systems
Why does my ArkkZ have the ArkkPure logo?
The honest answer is timing.
One batch of ArkkZ systems was manufactured with the ArkkPure logo printed on the unit. That happened while we were still developing the ArkkPure brand.
If you bought an ArkkZ system and it carries the ArkkPure logo, you still have an ArkkZ system. The logo does not mean you received a different model or a different version of the product.
The important part: the system is the same
Our manufacturing partners built those units to the same requirements as every other ArkkZ we sell.
There is no difference in:
- specifications
- features
- filtration technology
- components
- quality standards
- performance
- maintenance requirements
The difference is the logo on the outside. That is the whole of it.
I want to be clear about why that matters. A water filtration system is only as good as the standard it is built to. Those standards are set by us, checked by us, and applied to every unit that carries our name. A branding decision made in an office does not reach into the build sheet.
3. Who Owns the ArkkPure Brand?
Renewell Water owns and controls the ArkkPure brand.
ArkkPure is not a separate company. It is not an independent water filtration manufacturer. It is not a third party brand that somehow ended up on our systems by accident.
We created the name ourselves as part of an earlier branding plan. Both ArkkPure and ArkkZ sit inside the Renewell Water range. Our partners build to the standards we set. That holds true whichever logo is on the front panel.
4. Why Does This Matter to Consumers?
In short: it doesn't change anything about your system
If you bought an ArkkZ system and your unit carries the ArkkPure logo, there is no action you need to take.
You have the same ArkkZ system you paid for. Same quality, same build, same features, same performance.
Your warranty is with Renewell Water and it does not change. Your support is with Renewell Water and it does not change. Just keep following the ArkkZ maintenance guide for your system.
